The Arc Baltimore Board Adds Three New Members
BALTIMORE, MD (7/6/23) --- Three new members have been elected to the Board of Directors of The Arc Baltimore.
The new Directors, each of whom will serve a three-year term, are:
- Erin Montgomery, Senior Director, Accounting Policy and SOX Compliance, Intra-Cellular Therapies, Inc.;
- Steven A. Rice, Vice President and Financial Advisor, RBC Wealth Management; and
- Jenene R. Washington, MD, MBA, Founder, Chief Executive, and Senior Healthcare Advisor, Renaye James Healthcare Advisors.
“The addition of these three outstanding people, each of whom possesses a broad range of talents and a depth of personal and professional experience, puts The Arc Baltimore’s Board of Directors in an excellent position to deal with the challenges and opportunities that undoubtedly will present themselves in the year ahead,” says Kathleen Durkin, The Arc’s Chief Executive Officer.
The three new Directors were elected to The Arc Baltimore Board during the organization’s 2023 Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony. The event also featured the election of new officers and award recognitions for those who have gone “above and beyond” in their service to The Arc Baltimore and the people with developmental disabilities who are recipients of its programs and services.
“The Annual Meeting is our opportunity to honor all those who have given so much of themselves to the mission of The Arc Baltimore, from Board members new and old to community partners and volunteers to supported individuals and staff members,” explains Durkin. “It is the hard work of all of these individuals that is at the very heart of our vision for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently, work in meaningful jobs, and enjoy friendships and activities in the community.”
