Christopher Knoerlein maintains and grows annual giving for The Arc Baltimore through appeals and proposals to individuals, foundations, and corporations. Knoerlein will also facilitate Board members’ annual engagement and support The Arc’s CEO in Board development. In addition, he will implement annual fundraising events, oversee the organization’s Annual Meeting and Awards Program and Developmental Disabilities Day activities, and manage all aspects of external communications, including advertising and media outreach.
Chris was the Maryland chapter president of the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD). He co-chaired AFP Maryland’s Fundraising Day in Maryland event in 2017 and 2018 and was a board member from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, The Daily Record honored him as a Very Important Professional: Successful Before 40, and he graduated from Leadership Baltimore County in 2023. He currently sits on the Board of Maryland Inclusive Housing. He is a proud Calvert Hall College High School and Villanova University alum.
