During this crisis, many in our community have stepped up in support of the hundreds of people with disabilities who receive our services. One in particular is Dr. Kenneth Greene. He has always been someone who treats his patients with the utmost respect, patience, and dignity, and The Arc honored him as our professional of the year in 2018. Recently, he has demonstrated why he is deserving of this honor every year. He has FaceTimed with people and their staff for as long as necessary to prevent them from requiring unnecessary emergency services. He has instructed staff to call him personally at any time if their health declines, and his office staff has helped to coordinate emergency services with other providers. He is someone that we can always count on and we are honored to recognize this wonderful human being.
