If you or someone you know receives funding through the DDA for services provided by The Arc Baltimore, you may or may not know that you depend on Medicaid. Medicaid is sometimes not understood as an essential program for people with disabilities. Due to current threats to the Medicaid program, we are seeking stories about people with disabilities and their families who are willing to share some of their story – about how Medicaid affects you/them.
Please consider the questions below. You can fill out a Medicaid Story Form, and mail to 7215 York Rd., Baltimore, MD 21212, attn: Kate McGuire or email it to kmcguire@thearcbaltimore.org. Please describe as fully as possible – the more detail the better.
