A coalition of advocates, including those we support, family members, board members, and our dedicated staff from The Arc Baltimore, joined forces with hundreds of statewide supporters to champion policies and secure vital funding for the developmental disability community! The energy was electric in Annapolis for DD Day at the Legislature, kicking off with an inspiring program and briefing, which included a powerful speech made by Maryland's Governor Wes Moore.
Our district teams were on fire, participating in a whopping 35 meetings to amplify our agenda. Huge shoutout to our representatives and their staff for their unwavering openness and attentiveness to our concerns. Together, we're making waves and driving positive change!
