We are delighted to be celebrating the 70th year of The Arc Baltimore! We have been privileged to play a role in the life passages of scores of individuals over seven decades. What binds it all are enduring friendships, commitment to work, the right to love, steadfast advocacy, and the daily choices that bring satisfaction and fulfillment.
As we reflect on our history, we are reminded of the parents in the 1940s who wanted more for their children with disabilities and fought to make it happen. They created a movement in the Greater Baltimore area that eventually became The Arc Baltimore. To honor those parents and our 70 years, we’ve created an Amazon Wishlist that provides an opportunity for you to give back directly to those we fight for day in and day out.
Our program staff has identified a variety of items – ranging in price from a few dollars to several hundred dollars – to benefit the people we support or tools for staff use outside of our normal budget. Please consider purchasing something today. They will come directly to our main office, and it will ship free for those of you who are Amazon Prime members.
